Ignore the constant see-sawing of the volatile summer stock markets says Titan Business Insurance, keep it in the background and focus on day-to-day business.
One of the UK’s largest business insurance brokers is advising its clients not to become preoccupied with the stock markets as they rise up and down throughout August.
Titan Business Insurance, which handles general business insurance for clients throughout the country, believes that the state of the markets can have an unsettling effect on business managers.
This can result in negative sentiment which is disproportionate to what is happening on the street and with their business. But Titan believes that it is not until autumn that the markets trend properly. It says that because a large proportion of the City is away on holiday and market volumes are thin, the markets usually oscillate during the quieter summer months.
Chief Executive Officer of Titan Business Insurance, Basil Tsapralis, said:
“There is a great deals of bad news out there and the worries on the markets do reflect a general concern that another recession is looming and that it will be some time before the current crisis is over, but continually watching the markets panics creates a negative sentiment for most business people.
“It should be seen as just another indicator that has to be assessed in the cold light of day and compared with one’s own experience at street level. Getting caught up in emotions of an unpredictable stock market is no good for anyone outside of the City.”
Operating in all parts of the UK, Titan Business Insurance is a specialist in policies for SMEs who value competitive prices and high customer service.
